2026 West Shore RCMP Policing Priorities Survey

Type(s)
News Release

West Shore RCMP is seeking community input to help shape the 2026 Annual Police Priority Plan.

Have your say—residents are encouraged to complete the survey and share their priorities to help guide local policing efforts.

Developed with municipal and Indigenous partners, the plan sets local policing priorities for 2026 beginning April 1, 2026, using crime statistics, operational data, and community feedback.

Community feedback plays a critical role in this process. Hearing from residents about their experiences, concerns, and priorities—alongside crime data and other evidence—helps ensure policing efforts are aligned with the needs of the West Shore community.

Please note that this survey is to help inform the police of where your community would like to see focused police efforts. These priorities are not exclusive of what the police will investigate. Public safety is our top priority and we encourage all community members to call the police to report criminal offences regardless of whether they are listed in this priority list.
