The 2026 Budget Meeting Schedule is as follows:
- Monday, March 23, 2026: Committee of the Whole
- Monday, April 13, 2026: Committee of the Whole
- Tuesday, April 20, 2026: Regular Council Meeting
- Monday, May 4, 2026: Regular Council Meeting
Meetings start at 7:00 pm and are held in person at the Community Hall, 729 Finlayson Arm Road.
Agendas will be available on our Meeting Portal the Friday prior to the meeting date.
Members of the public are welcome to share their comments during the Petitions and Delegations portion of the meeting.
- In Person: Participants are encouraged to submit a Request to Speak form in advance of the meeting. Those who have not pre-registered are still welcome to attend in person and speak.
- Electronically: To speak remotely during the meeting, a Request to Speak form must be submitted by 1:00 PM on the day of the meeting to ensure connection details are received and your participation is confirmed.
- Written Submissions: Submissions will be accepted until 1:00 PM on the day of the meeting by email: info@highlands.ca or at the District Office. All submissions should clearly identify the meeting it pertains to and will be appended to the agenda to form part of the public record.
