The 2020 Property Tax Notices have now been mailed out to all residents and property owners.Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation our office will remain closed except for Property Taxes effective June 1.Office hours are 8:30am to 4pm.
COVID-19In recognition of the financial hardship some are facing as a result of COVID-19 Highlands Council and the Provincial Government have enacted special bylaws and legislation to change the property taxation framework for 2020. Please refer to the property tax insert
The District encourages residents to take advantage of the online, mail and/or drop box options that are available.
We are taking steps to ensure the ongoing provision of District services while limiting the spread of COVID-19. Access to the Highlands District Office, for anything other than Property taxes, will be limited to *by appointment only until further notice.
